Calling all tourists or San Francisco locals! Get out of Union Square and hop on over to the Mission for the real Bon Appétit! Anyone knows that you have to relocate, if you are lost in the outer skirts of San Francisco or stuck in a rut, in tourist traps. The heart of the Mission is where the real heart of food is, especially at The Corner tonight! Why The Corner, one asks? Well, Eat Restaurant will be featuring their lethal menu tonight for that appetite of yours! From Parisienne Gnocchi, which is simply indescribable, to Shellfish Ravioli, the menu will just make your teeth sweat! And those are only two dishes off the menu that will tease those taste buds for more…more and more! So, what else is on the menu? Is there dessert on the menu? The fog might have rolled in, but that doesn’t mean Ken Ken Ramen rolled their sleeves down for the kitchen! The fog can’t fight Ken Ken tonight, their goal is to satisfy the customer and their appetite! Fog fog go away and let Ken Ken shine tonight! Bowls filled to the brim with steaming broths, Ramen noodles, soft boiled eggs, braised pork shoulders, varieties of fresh veggies and a pinch there and a pinch here of much more surprises! And if one doesn’t know how to use chopsticks for that Ramen dish, don’t panic, there is plenty of cutlery! Plenty of cutlery to devour those sinful appetizers and plenty of time to scoop up those soft boiled eggs, right out of that Ramen delight! As the heat in the Mission might be kind of unbearable to some right now, wait till things cool off tonight at The Corner and join Bernal Supper Club! Bernal seems to have things on fire tonight, but that doesn’t mean you will be roasting along with them! Sit back, relax and have a cold one, while waiting for their delicious temptations to arrive in front of those eyes! Which dish will be your eye candy tonight? First off, ordering a cool one might be your best bet, to ease that whistle of yours! Maybe start off with a 21st Amendment Brewery IPA, maybe some Chimay (Red Label) or just stick to what that pocket change can afford and grab a PBR! Now that the drink orders have been placed, it’s now time for the real exciting challenge for the night…the food! Maybe something light, crisp and just potent on those taste buds, such as, the fresh Steelhead Trout, paired with some fresh Brussel sprouts and their Market Greens appetizer to start off with. That’s Amore, might just be the ringing to one’s ear this evening at The Corner! Who doesn’t love one of Dean Martin’s classic tunes? You would be a fool to hate that tune and to not have that tush on one of Chef Josie’s seats tonight, for dinner! Especially, when it’s going to be Rustic Italian food, from Global Soul Café or Bravo’s next Top Chef, Chef Josie! Not that The Corner is name dropping or anything. So, enough about Dean, Bravo and classic tunes, Italian is on the menu. Italian and wine you say? Nothing can pare up as well as those two together! What will be on the menu? Will it be linguine, fettuccine or spaghetti pasta served with, Grandma’s, amazing rich meatballs or Eggplant Parmesan? Maybe a pinch of garlic, a dash of fresh crushed pepper or a waterfall of Olive Oil flowing through each pan, heating that next dish up for you, Take the night off from the kitchen, give those feet a rest and let Chef Josie heat things up for you at 5:30 tonight, right in San Francisco’s food network of a district, the Mission!

Is it love at first sight or love at first bite? Just one bite of Eat Restaurant at The Corner tonight is just total bliss! The dim lighting, the wine flow, the chill crowd and oh yes…the art! The art? Isn’t The Corner a restaurant, not an art gallery? One doesn’t have to attend a gallery, in order to see art, food is art! Especially, Eat Restaurant’s devouring plates served right up to your table. Art being served at dining tables? Food is the new art trend! The tabloids, the press, newspapers, the web, major bus lines, it’s all over the place! But tonight the show will begin at 5:30 and end when the last fork has been dropped at 10:30! So, what pieces/plates will be presented in front of those eyes this evening? Maybe, a little bit of fresh, cherry red Heirloom tomatoes, invigorating Bruschetta and Risotto Risotto Risotto! One can never go wrong with a dash of Crab, a pinch of Halibut or a handful of Prawns tossed with some Risotto! The show starts when one grabs the house keys, turns the TV off and makes a dash for the first open seat tonight at The Corner in the Mission!

On your mark, get set…go! Do not pass go or collect $200! Just snag that first seat at The Corner and let the invigorating and intense aromas lure you into a spell! The empowering essence and affordable menu options will keep one coming back for more and will keep others intrigued! So, what is on the menu tonight and the next Thursday menu? Well, good thing Ken Ken Ramen doesn’t change their weekly menu, so one can keep coming back, for their Thursday ritual favorites! Menu options should remain in order and lines should be stacked outside, when the clock hits 6 o’clock! But when 10 o’clock strikes, the others will have to turn around and head home for the evening, unless the remaining would like to setup the tents for next week’s show! And if one didn’t get the memo from the chefs, there might just be a couple of clues for you! Some of this week’s clues are: Steaming broths of ramen, tossed with slow poached eggs, but not intended for each dish, fresh bamboo shoots, ever so green bok choi and maybe just a handful of pork tenderloin! It’s also not just about those meat eaters either, vegetarians are welcome and accommodated to their very own vegetarian dishes. Oh yes, the appetizers, the most important part! But, not so fast….come in and find out for yourself about those intriguing surprises!

Did that Labor Day weekend send one hibernating, until all was said and done?  Is it safe to leave the house?  Because Wednesday is here and CatHead’s simply can’t be missed for those zesty, pimento flavored biscuits!  Pimento in biscuits?  That’s not all those biscuits have to offer, with a pinch of this and a dash of that, what is in those indescribable biscuits?  Well, there is always one way to find out and it’s not hibernating that booty on that seat of yours!  Get moving and strut that stutter over to 18th and Mission, at The Corner and get that VIP treatment for Wednesday’s Happy Hour session!  Now for starters, what should be something to snag for that plate to be whisked right over to you?  Something eye grabbing off that menu, such as, collard greens, dandelion greens in a potato salad and  to top all that off, throw in some slow smoked pulled pork!  At least that’s what Porky the pig would say about that certain plate,”That’s All Folks”!

So round up the ladies, the gents or even that favorite pooch of yours and haul it to The Corner this Sunday for Sweet Jo’s Chili&Biscuits! Plenty of seats and outdoor seating for you and your pooch is no problem, but don’t be late, being the early bird will snag a seat in no time and keep the waiting line jealous with envy.
