Bernal Supper Club sure doesn’t forget about their customer’s needs and wants. Every Monday, people look forward to their starter, Steelhead Trout, on rye toast with spiced yogurt, cucumber and fresh watercress. But they seem to keep a favorite on their weekly menu, which is a relief, because one week without Nonna’s Meatballs, will drive one mad! These steaming, juicy meatballs are served in their very own iron dish and are tossed with fresh herbs, Parmigiano and marinated in a fresh tomato sauce to die for! If one missed out last week, get your fork ready and run to The Corner for the goods, because Bernal won’t be back until the next date posted, which is a secret! You have to keep coming back for more to get the latest scoop, especially a scoop of Bernal’s Fuji Apple Crisp. What is this amazing sounding Fuji Apple Crisp dish? Well, it’s ice cream that has that crisp apple taste, a smidge of granola and peanut butter ice cream, ooh la la! So beat that rush by 5:30pm and get that first seat you lay eyes on!

As the heat in the Mission might be kind of unbearable to some right now, wait till things cool off tonight at The Corner and join Bernal Supper Club! Bernal seems to have things on fire tonight, but that doesn’t mean you will be roasting along with them! Sit back, relax and have a cold one, while waiting for their delicious temptations to arrive in front of those eyes! Which dish will be your eye candy tonight? First off, ordering a cool one might be your best bet, to ease that whistle of yours! Maybe start off with a 21st Amendment Brewery IPA, maybe some Chimay (Red Label) or just stick to what that pocket change can afford and grab a PBR! Now that the drink orders have been placed, it’s now time for the real exciting challenge for the night…the food! Maybe something light, crisp and just potent on those taste buds, such as, the fresh Steelhead Trout, paired with some fresh Brussel sprouts and their Market Greens appetizer to start off with. Hmmm….what is for supper tonight? Leftover lasagna or leftover meatloaf again? Something needs to be changed and something needs to happen fast or else starving for the evening just might happen. Here in San Francisco and not one place comes to mind, except, what was that place called the other day, that a friend mentioned? Was it The Corner? Something is definitely going on at The Corner tonight, can’t seem to put that finger on it yet. Oh yes, that’s right, it’s all coming back to memory, for a minute, it felt amnesia had struck! Bernal Supper Club, that’s it! Finally, something to look forward to and indulge that face into the aromas, the ambiance and oh yes, mustn’t forget…the food! Now for the menu, dear lord, it’s like choosing only one Christmas present, if you had to. Well, if one needs some ideas, Open Face Ravioli with Lamb Sugo, Turnips and Roasted Eggplant and Nonna’s, infamous, Meatballs will just be a little something added for the menu this evening at 5:30…oh my! Hopefully one won’t be sent into a coma, just from the aroma of the food, the plate hasn’t even landed on the table!

So, that frozen dinner just isn’t cutting it tonight, right? Need some socializing and good eats tonight? Well, Bernal Supper Club just might have a remedy for you and whoever tags along. How does a Hanger Steak, decorated with some spinach puree, beets, Pearl onions and a dash of horseradish sound to you? Sounds better than a frozen Salisbury steak, that you could knock a headlight out with, right? Not to mention some crumb size carrots thrown into that appalling mess of a dish. A Hanger Steak is not the only thing that Bernal Supper Club can satisfy those taste buds of one, there is more! More…more…more! Is what the streets of San Francisco are screaming for! Did someone scream meatballs? Melt in your mouth, Nonna’s Meatballs, will cause one to have withdrawals, if not consumed on a weekly basis. The fresh herbs, the fresh tomato sauce, marinating the meatballs just seem to make one melt in their seats. And for the crème de la crème, the dessert comes along! Just when you thought it was time to exit the building, something sweet seems to be telling your conscience that one bite won’t hurt. So, what is the sweet sensation tonight?
